Endo Toyo, known as a miser, has died. The three surviving members of the Endo family - the eldest son Kazuo and his wife Aiko (Kanna Hana), the second son Jiro and his wife Odori (Shiraki Yuko) and their son, and the eldest daughter Rina (Shijimi) - are contacted by lawyer Kimura to hear about an explanation regarding the inheritance, and so they each head to their parents' home. The siblings never got along to begin with, and the discussion is shrouded in an uneasy atmosphere. Furthermore, there is a riddle in Toyo's will... Who will be able to solve it? And who will have the last laugh?!
