Nicola De Rinaldo
Nicola De Rinaldo (January 24, 1942) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. At the end of the 1960s he founded in Naples, together with other young directors, the Cooperativa Cinema Indipendente. In 1973 he directed the short film Il continente nero attende ancora, and he worked as assistant director on Tinto Brass’ film La vacanza. He later worked mainly as a documentary filmmaker for television, making investigative reports and compilation films for RAI. In 1985 he directed his first feature film, L’amara scienza.
