Adriana de Faria

Born in northern Brazil, she grew up in the vibrant culture of Pará. A screenwriter since 2015, she writes stories from her territory to the world. Her main interests lie in women's narratives and social dramas with a touch of fantasy. She has worked in creative teams and as a co-writer with other screenwriters. Since 2019, she has been directing and producing her own original works, and in 2025 she founded Água de Rio, an independent production company based in Belém. Her major works include the short films Boiuna (Gramado Film Festival, 2025), Cabana (Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, 2023), and Ari y Yo (Brasília Film Festival, 2019). She writes for television, including the series Sabores da Floresta (Globoplay, 2025) and Pelos Rios da Amazônia (TV Cultura of São Paulo, 2026). Additionally, she provides services in training, grant proposal formatting, curation, consulting, jury duties, and institutional scripts for advertising.
